Environmental Issues

Before we tell you about some of the chemicals that are in modern cleaning products, here are a few facts that you may not know about:

Since 1975, Asthma has increased by over 160% in children under 5

In your home, most homeowners use 10 times more toxic chemicals per acre than farmers.

There was a 128% increase in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma between 1973 and 1995.

Now days people are being exposed to more and more potentially dangerous chamicals through the air they breath, water, food, clothing, furniture and cleaning chemicals.

Surface cleaners often contain 2-butoxyethanol which is known to irritate eyes and the respiratory tract.

Glass cleaners often contain 2-butoxyethanol, butyl cellosive, diethanolamine, ethyl cellosive, ethylene glycol and monoethanolanune which are all known irritants.

Mold cleaners often contain Formaldehyde which irritates eyes, nose, throat and skin.

Toilet cleaners often contain Hydrochloric acid, hypochloric bleach, muriatic acida and oxalic acid which are corrosive and also irratants

Bleach often contains Sodium hypochlorate which is a strong corrosive and can be deadly.

loor Cleaners often contain Pine oil and petroleum distillates, both of which are irritants

This is not a complete list, or to say that all cleaners contain all of these chemicals. It is a sample taken from a range of traditional cleaning products which are available.
